The Port of Garavan, solemnly inaugurated in 1967 on the French Riviera, is located 700 meters from the Italian border, making it not only a terrestrial but also a maritime crossroads between France and Italy. It is one of the closest departure points to Corsica, Sardinia, and Sicily.
