Port Hercule is an essential destination when planning a yacht tour along the French Riviera. As Monaco's main port, it is situated at the foot of a cliff, atop of which stands the Prince's Palace – the official residence of the Prince of Monaco. It stands as the premier Mediterranean resort adjacent to France.

The name "Port Hercule" has Greek origins. In antiquity, Monaco's port was associated with the cult of the hero Hercules, and the name was often used in the expression "Heracles Monoïkos," meaning "Hercules the Isolated." Both Greeks and Romans appreciated the convenience of this Mediterranean bay, utilising it as a trading port.

His Serene Highness Prince Albert II continued his father's work in the port's development. Today, Port Hercule Monaco is one of the few deep-water harbours on the French Riviera.

Prestigious, comfortable, and modern, Port Hercule is not only a yacht marina but also a venue for grand events. Every September, it hosts the world's premier yacht show, the Monaco Yacht Show. The renowned Yacht Club de Monaco, resembling a giant cruise liner, often hosts high-society events.  It is worth mentioning that part of Formula 1's most famous race, the Monaco Grand Prix, takes place exactly in Port Hercule.
